This has genuinely been the best Chinese takeaway I’ve come across in a very long while. I’d consider it a hidden a gem. From the first bite I could taste the quality in food. For someone who considers themselves as a picky eater I was left very impressed.

Jade River is our regular chinese takeaway, and is easily one of the best in the area. We always order the same thing, and by this point they know us by name! We order plant-based, and they are happy to accommodate us by removing egg from our favourite noodle dish (mixed vegetable vermicelli) without any fuss! The service is top notch, and Tony is always so smiley and happy to see us—he is an integral part of our Jade River experience (though anyone that has served us there has been incredibly friendly and kind) 🙏 There’s a reason they’re always so busy! Amazing place, food is great! Normally about 30-40 min wait so not too long. Only problem is trying to call in is a nightmare on the weekend and Friday because the food is so good!
